Two plastic surgeons and a dermatologist of Greenberg Cosmetic Surgery urged the approximately 100 women who attended the Amaezing Midlife & Beyond Women’s Summit 2025 to do cosmetic or plastic surgery procedures to make themselves happy with who they see in the mirror.
Stephanie Cooper, MD, a plastic surgeon at Greenberg Cosmetic Surgery told a patient who had breast implants and then got a new boyfriend who wasn’t a fan, “Lose the boyfriend; keep the implants.” That same patient came back six months later grateful she took her doctor’s advice and promptly dumped the boyfriend because she loved how she felt with the implants.
“This is about you,” echoed colleague Jacqueline Ross, MD, another plastic surgeon. “This is about making changes to your body so you are who you see in the mirror.”
And those implants, particularly those done within recent years, don’t need to be updated every 10 years, Dr. Cooper added.
Dr. Cooper also encouraged the women in the audience to only pursue cosmetic and plastic surgery procedures from a practice affiliated with board-certified physicians.
