When new entrepreneurs start their businesses, there’s a critical decision they need to make — how to develop a website. Some view this as an expense and something that they need to do to seem legitimate while others recognize that this is an investment in their business’ success.
“A website can be a sales tool,” explains Mark Matatov, owner of Bracha Designs. This would involve properly deploying search engine optimization as well as organizing your website to meet a prospect and client’s needs.
Matatov has worked with several businesses who created do-it-yourself websites and turned those into lead magnets.
For those businesses that don’t invest in their website, it can become simply an online business card — something that’s available but ultimately not serving the entrepreneur’s business objectives.
